There have been many women reporting that a man has been approaching them while holding a puppy to try to get their attention. Police in these areas of the Capital Region say to be aware.According to News Channel 13, many women have reported a suspicious man holding a puppy trying to gain attention from women. He made the women feel uncomfortable enough to contact police in Albany and Saratoga Counties.

The man had been seen at Crossgates Mall both inside and outside, Broadway in Saratoga, and in the parking lot of the Clifton Park Library. At the library, he approached a woman with the puppy saying he could brighten her day. The Saratoga County Sheriff's Department said they questioned the man after the library incident. But he had done nothing wrong.

The man is described as a white male in his 40's, has a beard, and tattoos on both arms and both legs. He is reported to be driving a dark-colored late model Jeep Cherokee.

Police say just to be aware of the man and if you feel uncomfortable to report it to local authorities.
