It's a glimmer of normalcy in anticipation of the Christmas holiday that Colonie Center announced that you will be able to get your picture taken with Santa Claus. They also announced their holiday shopping hours. Here are the details. It is something that we may have taken for granted before 2020. Many people probably figured that getting your child's picture taken with Santa was a thing of the past. But Colonie Center announced that they will be giving families the opportunity to take pictures this year with St. Nick.

According to News 10 ABC, Colonie Center is making it possible for pictures with Santa Claus this holiday season. There will be social-distancing protocols in place and it will be a bit different this year. Look for the big guy to arrive at Colonie Center outside of LL Bean on Black Friday (November 27th). This year you must reserve a time slot with Santa online. There will be COVID safety protocols in place. Families and kids will be six feet in front of Santa and kids can share their wishlists from a safe distance as well. Masks are required by all guests and Santa too. To reserve your picture time slot click HERE.

Colonie Center also announced its holiday hours. They will be closed on Thanksgiving and then open on Black Friday at 8 am. They will also have extended hours closing at 9 pm every day until Sunday up through Christmas week. To see a complete list of hours on Christmas week, click HERE.

Colonie Center will be doing its "Clicks to Curbside" for touchless pickup at all stores and restaurants. Safety protocols are in place including wearing face masks, and free disposable masks will be available for all guests. There are hand sanitizer stations, cleaning protocols, and self-cleaning on high-frequency touchpoints.

The Colonie Center Food Court will also be open but capacity will be limited to fifty percent.
