Colonie Center Expanding & Opening New Stores & Restaurant

Colonie Center is giving shoppers plenty of new reasons to stop by, with several new stores opening and familiar favorites growing their space. From fashion and food to specialty shopping, the mall continues to add fresh options across every level.

According to a press release, one of the biggest additions is JD Sports, which opened on Saturday, January 17th. The global athletic footwear and streetwear brand is located on the lower level near the Cheesecake Factory entrance. Shoppers can expect a wide mix of popular sneaker brands and everyday styles that work just as well at the gym as they do on the street.

Food fans can already check out The Smoking Pig BBQ, now open near the Regal entrance across from Five Guys. The menu features classic barbecue favorites along with soups, sandwiches, burgers, chicken dishes, and baked goods. It is a solid new stop for anyone craving comfort food.

Upstate Thrift and Apparel has also moved into a larger space on the upper level across from Go Playland. The local shop is known for its mix of secondhand clothing, accessories, and everyday finds, now with more room to browse.

Arriving from New York City, 'USA Scrubs' will offer a wide selection of uniforms, medical apparel, shoes, and supplies, along with services like embroidery and screen printing, and a special partnership with Grey’s Anatomy scrubs.

With three major hospitals located nearby, the store is positioned to be a convenient option for local healthcare workers. It is expected to become a go-to spot for medical professionals across the region.USA Scrubs will open in March on the lower level next to JD Sports.
