Sheriff’s Sergeant Punched At Music Festival In Albany, New York
One thing to know about me: I love music festivals. There's something about paying a couple hundred dollars and being able to spend hours, if not days, in one location seeing hundreds of artists back to back to back.
Unfortunately, when you get that many people in one space, chaos is bound to break out, and that's exactly what happened at a recent festival in Albany.

Issues at Clover Fest
On Saturday, March 21st, MVP Arena hosted the first ever "Clover Fest" a music rap festival with names like Meek Mill and Dababy headlining. The festival was meant to be a huge moment for the city, but it quickly got out of hand.
According to some on Facebook, fights broke out over seats (despite arranged seating), and some younger patrons ended up getting a little too rowdy. The main issue, however, resulted from trying to end some of this chaos.
Assaulting an Officer
At some point during the show, a 21-year-old from Troy named Alexander Thompson had to be escorted out of the arena. The reason for which is not known. Several deputies of the Albany County Sheriff's Office were escorting Thompson out of the building, and he obviously didn't like that one bit.
On the way out, Thompson became combative, and ended up punching a Sheriff's Sergeant in the head. As such, he was charged with Resisting Arrest, Obstructing Governmental Administration and Assault. Thompson was arraigned the next day at Albany City Court, and awaits his court date where he will be sentenced.
