Inside the burning home, in the basement they discovered some fireworks, ammunition, a few hundred gallons of oil and a wood stove. The story was on WNYT. It happened in Richmond, Ma. in Berkshire County.

When the flammables were discovered, the firefighters ran out of the building. Not long after, the materials caused an explosion. Two firefighters were holding thermal image cameras, worth $20,000 each, but when the explosion happened, they dropped them.

There were no reports of any injuries. There’s still an investigation going on about the cause of the fire. Very glad that the firefighters are safe.
