Buffalo Bills Fans Vax or No Vax Allows You to Shout

We found out last week that Highmark Stadium (New Era Stadium) where the Buffalo Bills fans play would be hosting NFL games at full capacity. However, there would be a vaccination check prior to the game. Now the Erie County Executive is saying that the county has taken back the requirement of proof of vaccination to attend Buffalo Bills games or any events at the stadium according to WIVB.com.

Governor Cuomo announced that seventy percent of New Yorkers were vaccinated lifting mandates across the state. There were still limitations of indoor events and children in school. But because of very few COVID-19 cases, low hospitalizations, and the higher vaccination rates, Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz says that the proof of vaccination to attend stadium events is not necessary. Recently, there were zero cases in Erie County on Friday and just four new cases on Saturday after thousands of tests administered. He did say, however, that if cases spike, they would have to reevaluate the situation.

There is nothing like watching the Buffalo Bills in Orchard Park. Well, I used to go out there to watch the New York Jets play the Buffalo Bills but since I have now been inducted into the Bills Mafia, I was thrilled to hear the news that Highmark Stadium, where the Bills play will be at full capacity this season. Even though I am completely vaccinated, it's nice to know that they won't have to check every single fan that is going to the games.
