Maybe my title explains a little better what we are doing on Friday, April 24. Think BLUE.

It's Blue Friday, folks. This is a day we reserve for the families of fallen police officers. It's so important, it's become a state-recognized holiday, in large part due to the support from Senator Hugh Farley. We, in fact, had the privilege recently of receiving this commendation from him in the NYS Senate Chamber.

But it's not about us. It's about the brave men and women who put their lives on the line every day and often times tragically die in the process. We will be at Hannaford Supermarket on Wolf Road and the 99 Restaurant in Wilton off of Exit 15 taking your donations. There will also be an amazing amount of Blue Friday merchandise for sale there.

There will be a blood drive in Saratoga at the YMCA, courtesy of the Red Cross, as part of Blue Friday. It will happen after our broadcast, starting at 1 p.m. and going until 6 p.m.

This is the 11th year that we've hosted this all-important fundraiser, and we would love you to stop by at either location and make a quick donation. Thanks. See you there.
