Lou Rants About Another Stupid Parking Lot Design

I did a blog about what I thought was a stupid design in the Northway Mall parking lot. I do have one more. It’s behind Crossgates Commons in Albany.

As you pull down the driveway, to park near Pet Smart and lower level of the Walmart Super Center. Again, it’s

a good parking lot, with well marked spaces and plenty of room.

This one should’ve been shortened to be closer to the

building. Instead, you have to make this awkward right turn, around a peninsula. If someone’s trying to leave, you have to wait for them because you’ll either hit their car, or you will drive up onto the peninsula. I know there's another way to avoid this, and I usually try. Sometimes it's just more convenient.

Either way, you might damage your car. Who designs these things and why?
