It seems like stores are closing left and right these days. Whether it's due to heavier online shopping, high costs in rent or a bump in minimum wage, it's taking its toll on our local malls.

In the last couple of months, stories about J. Crew, Hallmark, The Limited, among others closing have popped up. So, who is the latest to be shutting its gate for good?

Teen/Junior apparel supplier, Wet Seal.

News broke publically this morning that the retailer is closing not just its store locally, but all of its stores. Employees at the headquarters for the company were given a letter dated January 20th stating that they'd be closing permanently and that employees would be out of jobs.
