Another Forecaster Says Upstate NY Will Have A VERY WARM Summer
First the NOAA predicted it, and now AccuWeather is saying we will have a very warm summer.
AccuWeather is predicting the heat will really get going in June in the Northeast. The forecast does say we could get some cool-downs in July due to various fronts and thunderstorms, but we can expect a series of heatwaves throughout the summer.
They are also forecasting more 90 degree days than normal. New York City usually has 16 days over 90, Boston 13 days. AccuWeather is saying each city could see 23 and 17 days over 90, respectively.
So we are 2 for 2 now with forecasts predicting above average heat this summer. So get those AC units ready, and find a good swimming hole to visit. A hot one is on the way!
