Albany Has A New Barbeque Chicken Restaurant
A new Korean chain restaurant called BBQ Chicken is now open for business in Albany.
If you follow my posts, you know I love chicken. I love to eat it, be it fried, on a sandwich or in wing form. And I love to write about it to pass along the best places or new spots to try out. You now have a new place to try out! According to a Times Union story. Korean chain restaurant BBQ Kitchen has opened a new location at 301 Central Avenue in Albany.
Upon visiting their website, you are immediately greeted with this message: "The crispy chicken skin at BBQ Chicken is a result of a two-day prep process that includes marination, battering, breading and frying. The wings are also available in flavors like Golden Original; Soy Garlic; Secret Spicy; Honey Garlic; and Cheesling." Now that leaves a tasty first impression, doesn't it? You put 2 days of prep into anything and it is going to taste amazing. Digging into their menu a bit, you will see BBQ Chicken offers a wide variety of chicken options from BBQ to fried chicken wings, plus sides like rice, fries, and salad.
Now let's get to the nitty-gritty, the real important question: How will this new spot stack up against our local faves like Hattie's and the Cuckoo's nest, as well as our other chain go to Popeye's? Only the taste test will tell and I cant wait to try out BBQ Chicken. I am getting hungry just thinking about it!
