First, we heard that a Chick-Fil-A was coming. Then, we heard that it was coming inside the airport. Then, we heard that production was delayed. Well, now, finally, we have information on when we can expect our first local Chick-Fil-A in the Capital Region!

Last I heard, the Chick-Fil-A was going to open the beginning of October but here we are and still no chicken sandwich smells coming out of our local airport. Finally, announced by the Times Union through the Albany Business Review, we know was can expect it by the end of this month.

If you're unfamiliar with the location, it will be through TSA security screening in the passenger area and you must have an airline ticket and get through security to be able to eat there. It will be opening along with a Wolfgang Puck Pizza place, owned by the the same OHM Concession Group.

It's so strange that their first location will only be where you must get through airport security to eat it. I wonder how many people will buy random tickets just to give it a try, will you? People have their own political opinion on Chick-Fil-A and no matter which side you stand on the issue, the opening of this location is getting people excited and soon you'll be able to take some of their food on a flight with you.
