A Museum For Broken Hearts For Valentine’s Day

I think everyone’s been through some sort of relationship that went south.

It may have included some nasty remnants like a gift thrown at a car during a stormy breakup. Maybe some furniture that had an axe put through it or maybe a wedding gown that’s from a wedding that sadly ended in divorce. For those broken hearted soles, there’s a place you may want to go. It’s the Museum of Broken Relationships in Zagreb, Croatia.

In a story from AP, this museum has on display the things that I mentioned and other that display some different stages of a break up. They all have tales of romance, passion and heartbreak all documented with the display. Apparently the donors of the memorabilia find that when they donated the various mementos for the displays was therapeutic.

For those of you who may not like Valentine’s Day because of a bad relationship, maybe you can plan you next vacation there and realize that you’re not the only one.
