Three women were caught and arrested by East Greenbush Police after they allegedly stole a few items from the Rennselaer Walmart at 279 Troy Road. In addition, they also had a 2-year-old child with them when they did this.

in a press release from the East Greenbush Police Department, after the initial call about the women and what kind of vehicle they were in, a report was broadcasted to other area police agencies. Within a few minutes, Rensselaer Police saw the vehicle on I-90 near The Patroon Island Bridge, stopped the vehicle and arrested the women. They are Charnell A. Wardlow, Traci S. Johnson and Ellen V. Lockwood, all from The Bronx.

All three women were charged with Grand Larceny In The Third Degree and Endangering The Welfare Of A Child. The one woman, Lockwood, was also charged as a Fugitive From Justice. She is currently wanted by the Connecticut Department of Correction Fugitive Unit for Grand Larceny and Escape from a work order program.

The items stolen from the Albany-area Walmrt were three 32 inch televisions, one 46 inch television, five assorted computers, two blenders, one Keurig coffee system and several kitchen utensils with the total value of $ 4,779.22.

All three women were sent to the Rennselaer County Jail. The child, who is Lockwood's daughter, was turned over to a family friend, and Child Protective Services were notified.
