2 Thanksgiving Leftover Recipe Ideas From Bethany
So I have been doing both of these fun Turkey Day leftover ideas for a couple of years now and they have been Bethany and Bub tested and approved! So I felt inclined to pass them along to you!
The first is simple and kinda boring, but really sorta genius! Take all of your left overs, layer them in a pan like a shepard's pie or Thanksgiving lasagna, and pop that bad boy in the freezer! One dish, 45 min in the oven... Thanksgiving in February! Yum, yum, yum! You can cover with cheese and french fried onions when you re-heat, or make a fresh batch of gravy and slather it up! Serve it with a some pie for extra effect!
Here's mine - the green bean casserole is on top... looks yucky, but it won't be! Promise!
The second idea you'll need a drink for.... I had Jack and Diet Coke... here's a photo of that...
You should get all of your leftovers out on the counter and also get your $4 Black Friday waffle iron out! Make sure you have cooking spray! Then, take a selfie!
After you and your left overs feel sufficiently sexy, lube up that waffle iron with Pam and throw a couple of handfuls of stuffing on there!
See where I'm going here? You're about to make a stuffing waffle with all the fixin's on top! And, it's gonna blow your mind!
Ohhhhhhh, yes, because what's better than stuffing? Crispy, waffle shaped hot stuffing! That's what!
Now, add sh*t...
Like mashed potatoes!
And green bean casserole and turkey!
If you have a dog, take a pic of her pouting for you to drop stuff...
Don't worry, I gave her a few bites!
Here's the finished product! (Before I devoured it! Well, actually less than half... turns out it's a lot of food! Make sure you invite a friend to share! Or don't... I won't judge!)
Yum, yum, yum! Happy shopping!
