I've been lucky enough to have been at WGNA for--can it really be?- 23 years now.  And I can remember distinctly being told not to talk too much about technology on our show because "country people don't have computers".  Holy Crapola, Batman!

UPDATE: The dreaded Ipad--it's causing alot of tension in my marriage.  I want one, Dorrie...very badly.  And the new one is being announced supposedly Wednesday, March 2nd.  Oh boy, oh boy!!!   Addiction.  It's a terrible thing.  But I'm kind of funny about it.   When I finally buy one, I would like that new Ipad smell when I open the box.  Not the smell of cardboard.

When I was a kid, I had my favorite cartoons. In fact, I can still sit and watch a lot of those classic pieces of animation. (Personally, I think a lot of today’s animation makes many of the characters look scary)

Don't say you haven't used your cellphone on the "throne".  You know what they say about denial!  (It's not just a river in .....you know the rest)  Anyway, the stats are in!

This cracked me up, because it is SO true!  Well, maybe not if you are a younger parent, but as a father in his latter 40's (very latter--I'm 57), you show your "uncoolness" very quickly when you send text messages.  And I'm bad, but not THIS bad: When you text the following:  "Sorry I'm late, but my phone didn't wiggle", that's a sign that you have NOT gotten the lingo down...

Say what?  You heard what I said! I thought this was a joke myself when I heard about it.

Apple's co-founder and CEO, Steve Jobs, announced yesterday he will be taking an indefinite medical leave of absence from the company.  This is Jobs third medical leave.
