Major Movie Being Shot Just Outside of Albany
If you've ever wanted to appear as an "extra" in a major movie, this could be your moment! Last week, GNA had the story of Paramount Films coming to town, and on short notice, looking for extras in and around MVP Arena.
While that particular shoot has wrapped, Paramount film crews will be back in New York again with another open casting call - for the same movie - this time, they'll be just outside of Albany, filming down in the Hudson Valley.
The project is called “Too Much for One Heart,” which is the name of a song from the musical “Miss Saigon.” The casting agency describes the project as a “horror/mystery film.” - Albany Times Union

Here's what we know about the movie being shot down in the Hudson Valley:
- Paramount Films is casting actors to play young concertgoers
- Filming is on Friday 2/23/24 in Newburgh
- The film from Paramount Studios is called "Too Much for One Heart."
- It's an early morning call and filming will be indoors
- Non-SAG Pay rate $176/10
- SAG-AFTRA Pay: $208/8hrs
- You must be able to present valid identification to fill out a Federal i9 form so you can be paid.
- Also, if you worked on concert scenes in Albany from 2/13-2/15, you are NOT eligible.
