This week I had an opportunity to see my Yankees play the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park. The Yankees lost in the ninth inning but I must admit , it wasn't a horrible time. I left there thinking that Fenway was one of the coolest places to see a professional sports team.

I have been a Yankee fan since before I can remember and that will never change, and as all Yankee fans know, the Red Sox are to be hated, plain and simple. I have to admit though that I have never been to Yankee Stadium the old or the new. I have been to many Football Stadiums as that is my sport of choice, but this was actually the first Major League Baseball game I have went to in person. I however am also a fair man and I will admit when I see something I like. I really like Fenway Park.

I love the neighborhood it is in, and the place is surrounded by pubs and shops that just have a great neighborhood feel to them. The stadium itself is clearly old but in pretty good shape and very clean. You can't help but feel the history in the building and simultaneously feel like and wish you could be there back in the early 1900's.

Although it is very tight, not a lot of room in the seats to move at all, and I think it's always at maximum capacity, there is an undeniable charm to it being so small.

So there, I said it, it's a great venue, whatever. Now I need Yankee fans to come to the defense of our Bronx Bombers and tell me why Yankee Stadium is better and why. I hope someday soon to be able to get down there and make the arguments for myself but for now I will leave it to you, which is better? Fenway or Yankee Stadium. Go.
