Will We See Aaron Rodgers Sign With Mike Tomlin and the Steelers?
As a lifelong Pittsburgh Steeler fan, I would be ecstatic if they were to sign Aaron Rodgers this offseason. While I know Rodgers is always surrounded by drama, he is still one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL and is a future hall of famer. Here is my quick take on this from the Times Union:
If quarterback Aaron Rodger’s decides to leave Green Bay for greener pastures, the Pittsburgh Steelers would open up their wallet and welcome Rodgers with open arms. If the Steelers could land Rodgers they would be instant contenders to win the Super Bowl. Mike Tomlin is considered one of the best coaches in the NFL, and he’s never had a losing season with the Steelers. Tomlin has a very good relationship with Rodgers and Pittsburgh is always built to win now. Green Bay gives Rodgers his best chance of reaching the Super Bowl, but the Steelers have more to offer than Denver.
MJ and I had a conversation this morning regarding Rodgers possibly coming to the Steelers this offseason. While I think he will stay in Green Bay, it is entirely possible that Rodgers comes to play at Heinz Field in the Steel City. Below is our full conversation.
Mike Tomlin and Aaron Rodgers do respect each other a ton but the Steelers do have to improve their offensive line as they allowed Big Ben to be sacked way too many times this past season. There are a plethora of weapons on the Steelers which includes: TJ Watt, Minkah Fitzpatrick, Diontae Johnson, Chase Claypool Najee Harris, Pat Freiermuth etc. If Rodgers does join the Pittsburgh Steelers, expect me to be buying his jersey for next season.
