There are always rumors abounding with this company.  Oddly enough, doesn't it seem to follow that a lot of them come true?  This is slightly bizarre.

I love Apple, don't get me wrong.  I happen to own 3 products personally (iPad, iPhone and a 7 year old Macbook Pro that still runs like the day I got it).

But one thing they do  that makes me definitely scratch my head is to apparent make decisions without consulting the public,  specially when it comes to hardware.   It wasn't too long ago that they decided to get rid of the CD burner on the laptops.   I don't know about you, but I still have a lot of CDs and even some programs on CD.

According to Nasdaq.com, the upcoming iPhone 7 could possibly dispel with the traditional headphone jack.  That way they can make the phone even that much thinner.

I flipped out when I heard this.  WHAT?  YOU CAN'T USE HEADPHONES ANY MORE?  ARE THEY NUTS?

Well, do not despair.  I guess the lighting port will have a digital to audio converter.  ( You watch.. Betcha dollars to donuts that will meanou will have to buy some kind of adapter again which will make them umpteen billion extra dollars).  Maybe, maybe not.  You would think that would be a horrible marketing move because listening with earbuds is really a standard feature of the phone.  It's a "gotta have", don't you think?  Well have to wait and see.  Maybe I'm jumping the gun here.  What do YOU think?
