Watervliet Email Virus Warning

If you receive an email with an attachment from an employee of the city of Watervliet, do not open it.

There’s a good chance that it contains a virus. The warning went out today after it was discovered that there was a city computer became infected with a virus.

Watervilet General Manager Mark Gleason stated in the story from The Times Union, that the problem is being worked on by an IT consultant. An announcement will be made when the problem has been corrected.
