Upcoming Thriller Currently Being Filmed in Adirondacks

Who knew our area would become quite the hub for movie filmings? A new movie just started filming in our area and you still have a chance to catch a peek.

Aubrey Plaza (Parks & Recreation, FX's Legion, Child's Play), Christopher Abbott (Hulu's Catch-22), and Sarah Gadon (American Woman) are starring in the new movie from Productivity Media and Oakhurst Entertainment called Black Bear, according to Deadline.

In the movie, being described as a thriller, an expecting couple played by Abbott and Gadon try to help a guest from out-of-town (Plaza) who happens to be a filmmaker with a case of writer's block. Plaza's character turns to the woods for what she thinks is solace but ends up finding herself in a strange love triangle.

I haven't seen any information on when we can expect it and if it will be on a streaming service or in the theatres. All we really know is that they're currently filming in Long Lake in the Adirondack Mountains.
