My friends at Trustco Bank are continuing a great project they have started to renovate local parks. You may remember I wrote about what a great job they did at Quackenbush Park last year. This time around it's Woodlawn Park that gets their attention and at 1 p.m. today they make the reveal.

In a recent press release the folks at Trustco said:

Trustco employees and volunteers have been working to clean the park, put new sand on the volleyball court  and make a number of other enhancements.  New trash cans and park benches have been installed to allow visitors to better enjoy their visit to the park. A new sign was also installed to help promote usage by local residents.

I just think this is a really cool project and a great example of a company not only raising or donating money but actually getting dirty and doing the work. The employees should be proud of what they are doing.
Once again, Trustco Bank will hold an unveiling at Woodlawn Park at 1 p.m. after a group of bank employees has raked and put the finishing touches on the park. Trustco Management and Schenectady Mayor, Gary McCarthy are scheduled to attend.

Sean is a paid endorser of Trustco Bank.
