This list takes a look at some of the great city parks you can find in Upstate New York. They are all beautiful. They can be found in big cities like Rochester and Schenectady, and in smaller places like Clayton and Watertown.
Growing up we all went to the neighborhood park. A long time ago, you could just go with your friends and get a pickup game of basketball, swing on the swings, run around or do anything else as a kid at the park because you felt safe.
With temperatures soaring into the 90's by Sunday, it seems like Summer may officially be here before the actual "official" date. Personally, I'm so ready for it! After all of the rain and all of the on-again, off-again temperature changes that make the Ross/Rachel relationship of Friends in the early 2000's seem pretty steady, I'm desperate for the heat!
My friends at Trustco Bank are continuing a great project they have started to renovate local parks. You may remember I wrote about what a great job they did at Quackenbush Park last year. This time around it's Woodlawn Park that gets their attention and at 1 p.m. today they make the reveal.
