Troy High Running Back Makes Incredible ESPN Highlight (VIDEO)
It was quite the weekend for the Troy High Football team. Not only were they crowned state champions for the second consecutive season in AA football, but their running back Joey "Jukes Galore" Ward dazzled a national audience with a run during their Sunday championship game that was featured on Sportscenter. You have to see this to believe it!
It was # 1 on ESPN's Sportscenter Top 10 plays for good reason. I counted at least 4 broken tackles and a few more broken ankles as Troy High's Joey "Jukes Galore" Ward makes half the Lancaster High team miss. Just an unbelievable play. It reminded me of one my favorite scenes in Rocky II when Mick tries to convince Balboa that the only way he's gonna beat Creed is by improving his speed. So what does he do? He has Rocky chase a chicken. After an unsuccessful attempt, an exhausted Italian Stallion says he feels like "A Kentucky Fried Idiot." Love it! Congrats again to Troy High. You made the 518 proud.
