TasteofCountry.com tells us who the top American Idol earners for 2012 are: Kelly Clarkson, earning $8 million, and then Carrie Underwood and Chris Daughtry are tied for the second spot. Carrie reportedly earns about $400,000 a night.

A waitress was recently fired because she posted a photo of a receipt on Reddit, a social media site. The receipt shows a note left by a Pastor who was a customer in Applebees, that said: “I give God 10%, why should I give you 18%?” The waitress was fired because she violated the customer’s right to privacy by posting the photo of the receipt. We usually think grandparents are slow drivers, right? Not a South Dakota grandmother –she was caught speeding 4 times in a 3 hour period. She was so excited to see her granddaughter she couldn’t control her speed and was clocked at one point traveling 112 miles per hour. Other citations included driving without insurance and possession of marijuana.
