Top 5 Favorite Chris Cagle Songs — Scott’s Picks
I am really getting excited for the big GNA Summer Picnic coming up on August 25th at the Saratoga County Fairgrounds. All the acts are great including our headliner Chris Cagle. Ever since he hit the scene back in 2000 I have been a fan. He has played the area numerous times including a number of stops at Northern Lights (now called Upstate Music Hall).
Not too long ago Jake Thomas had a poll asking what your favorite Chris Cagle hit was. I thought I would list some of my favorite Cagle tunes some which were hits and some that were never released to radio.
1. Miss Me Baby
We've all had that one that got away that we still think about and hope they are missing you too. This song is so perfect and has become my absolute favorite of Chris' over the years.
2. Country By The Grace Of God
I always love a good country rocker and this song fits the bill!
3. The Safe Side
A song that tells us we need to take chances every now and then and not just stay in a comfort zone. To quote the song "Sometimes the greatest risk of all is never taking one at all".
4. Good To Be Back
The last few times I saw Chris perform live, he kicked his show off with this one! It's a great tune to get the crowd pumped up for a show!
5. Got My Country On
Chris' recent comeback song. First time I heard it I loved it! Another tune ya can't help but rock out to. A stomp your feet and have a good time tune!
He's bound to sing a few of these tunes when he hits the stage on August 25th at the GNA Summer Picnic with Jason Michael Caroll, Greg Bates and local favorites Skeeter Creek. Tickets are only $20 so get them now!
