Top 5 Favorite Albany Area Sports Bars — Scott’s Picks
It is a great time to sports fan right now. The NBA just kicked off their playoffs. The NHL is in full effect with their playoffs and every game has been incredible. Major League Baseball is a month into the season and already fantastic. NASCAR is moving right along with many great races. The only thing missing is the NFL, but their is enough off season stuff going on to make football fans happy.
As a guy who loves his sports, I love to get together with some friends have a few cold ones and watch some games at a few local establishments here in the Albany area. Here are just a few of my favorite places to go.
There's nothing better than watching a game, while enjoying some delicious wings and an ice cold beer. The fact they have some lovely ladies serving up the goods certainly doesn't hurt. Tons of TV's and a great atmosphere! Don't forget about Bingo Night with Jeff Levack on Tuesdays. Also a great place to watch the WWE and UFC Pay Per Views.
This place has it all if you want to watch your favorite team. You can either hang out at the bar or in the dining area and you won't miss a second of action. The menu is superb and a great selection of beers. For the kids and the kids at heart you gotta love the game room. This is another great place to watch UFC PPV's. The last time I went there for that, the place was packed!!!
Doesn't matter where which one you go to, Albany, Schenectady, Colonie, Amsterdam or Troy, you can always expect a ton of TV's to watch your team and a superb and friendly staff.
After seeing the commercials for years, I was so psyched when one opened up in the Clifton Park Center. I absolutely love their wings, especially the Garlic Parmesean ones. YUMMY! Always a good seat in the house with numerous TV's for all the games.
This place technically isn't a "Sports Bar" per se, but it is one of my favorites because I gather there on many a Sunday with my fellow Pittsburgh Steelers Fans during the football season. You can't go wrong with their burgers either. In my honest opinon, one of the best in the area.
Do you like to go to the same places as me? Where do you like to go to watch your favorite team?
