This Trailer For “The Martian” Starring Matt Damon Is Amazing [VIDEO]

It never ceases to amaze me how in this multi-media world where every secret is leaked and every plan is run through social media that I can still be surprised by a movie trailer I didn't know was coming. This was a pleasant surprise.

There was a best selling novel in 2011 by Andy Weir called "The Martian". I have not yet read it but by all accounts there is some really good science in it and even better people say it's a great read. I would assume along the lines of Michael Crichton.( Now that I write that "out loud" I guess I really should get the book.) What I didn't know was that they have already made the movie of the book and it comes out this November.

The movie stars Matt Damon as astronaut Mark Watney, who is stranded alone on Mars when a mission goes wrong. I wont bore you with all the details but the movie looks great and has an amazing supporting cast which includes,  Jessica Chastain, Kristen Wiig, Kate Mara, Michael Peña, Jeff Daniels, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Donald Glover.

The movie is directed by Ridley Scott and will be in theaters in November, check it out.
