I kid you not.  He's athletic as hell, but likes a good brewski too.  Say WHAT? 

According to an article in the Huffington Post, this guy, James Nielson, wanted to beat a world's record set by a Canadian who achieved a fairly amazing feat in 5:09. This is what he had to do, and I quote directly from the rule book:

The beer mile requires a runner to drink a can of beer for every lap on a 400-meter track for a mile. The beer must be 5.0 or higher in alcohol concentration and drank from a 12 ounce can that has not been altered. Four beers consumed for four laps. No vomiting permitted.

 

So good old Jim took this as a big challenge, and it looks like he succeeded. I'm not sure I can watch this again. It actually made me nauseous, but let's see how you react.
