The Star Trek Renegades Official Trailer Is Out [WATCH] – I Really Hope CBS Takes This Pilot Seriously

I have to say, I am a bit blown away by this project. If you are a "trekkie" like me than you may have also been thinking it's time for a new Star Trek series to emerge yet CBS nor Paramount have announced anything in the works. Enter a private company with fan support through Kickstarter to go ahead and create a brand new pilot to pitch to CBS for television or even a web series.

What makes this so special is the amount of work that has already gone into creating the "Star Trek Renegades" world and the casting of some pretty good actors including a couple from the ORIGINAL series.

Now I am no expert in how these things work but I can say that I hope CBS takes this very seriously as it seems to be a pretty good pilot and I think a whole lot of people would love to see it go into production. Let's see if you agree.
