My family and I enjoy going apple picking every fall. The smell of the apples fresh off the trees, cider donuts, and fresh-squeezed apple cider.... kicks off the fall season for me.
For the fourth time in six years, Beak & Skiff Apple Orchard in LaFayette has been named America’s No. 1 orchard in a national poll of readers of USA Today. From here, it's a bit of a drive to go apple picking at Beak & Skiff. According to Google Maps, it's about a two and a half hours drive from the Capital District.
