You hear it said a lot, "don't judge a book by its cover."

So what are we doing now? Judging our states off beauty alone. Lets judge away, shall we?!

Thrillest.com has put together a list of the 50 states from ugly duckling status to the prettiest of them all. Okay, in reality every state has their pretty spots, it's a matter of searching for 'em! Plus, isn't beauty really all in the eye of the beholder?

So where did New York fall within this list?

According to this list within the description, it points out that when most are asked about New York, they instantly think "New York City." That's fine and all, but that's really such a small part of the state, right?! But, that helped seal it's fate a little bit, because to some maybe that heavily trafficked city isn't the prettiest thing on the planet. Personally, eye of the beholder here, I love it!

New York came in almost right in the middle of the 50 states based on its beauty at #22.
