If you are even THINKING about complaining about your life, you have to think about these poor people in Hudson. Our hearts go out to them
According to CBS 6.com, a whopping 25 people were displaced by a terrible fire.  2 apartment buildings went up in flames this past Saturday nite.

This story is amazing on so many levels.  You all know how bitterly cold it was, but still very brave firefighters rose to the challenge.  What makes it more amazing is that noone was hurt as of this writing.

The buildings in question were at 336 and 338 State Street in the city.

So, have you checked your smoke alarms lately?  Have you used your snowblowers and cleared an area by the fire hydrants?  This is something that we should all be thinking about.  You obviously don't know when a situation like this is going to happen to either YOU or someone down the block.

Another consideration?  Giving blood.  The Red Cross was right there helping, and it sure would be terrible if their supplies were low when a catastrophe strikes.

There will be a blood donation event coming up in conjunction with our "Blue Friday" charity broadcast the morning of April 24th at Hannaford on Wolf Road and the 99 Restaurant on Route 50 in Wilton.  We will have more information soon.

Best of luck to these poor people.  I'm sure there will be charity events for them as well.  We will keep you informed
