I am no meteorologist but if you were to ask Steve Caporizzo he would tell you I am pretty well versed in the ways of the weather for a layman, and if you asked my wife she'd tell you I am a bit "weather obsessed." I can say that I was the one who predicted a warmer drier winter last August. So I got at least one thing right. That was then though, this is now and dang it, we need some go

This actually made national news this morning and I thought it was very interesting, in case YOU are interested in how this winter is going to be here in the Northeast.  Colder? Warmer? Buffalo-like snow?  Let's find out.

I don't know if you have heard yet but meteorologist are getting crazy lately about the potential El Nino that we will be experiencing this year. In fact they say that it could be even stronger than the El Nino of 1997. SO, what does that mean for us? They say it should mean a warmer drier winter. I will gladly take that.

I wanted to do this just to give credit for all of the people who  responded to my request for photos of the storm this past weekend.   My old neighbor is included in this song. Their tree came dangerously close to both of our houses (mostly his - thank God they're alright!)

If you were listening this morning to the show you may have heard Steve Caporizzo talk to us about his special report tonight at 10 p.m. on NEWS10 ABC on Fox23. Last year at this time, a tornado touched down in Duanesburg and they suffered through a terrible storm, luckily there were no fatalities but there was plenty of damage and scars that still remain.

This looked very serious.  You don't hear this kind of thing happening too often around these parts - a "slide" of dirt and debris in Bethlehem
