In just a few hours at 9 pm the first Presidential debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump will begin. IT is expected to be watched by nearly 100 million Americans, ratings that rival the Superbowl. I expect that half the people are tuning in because  feel it will be an informative debate and half because and half because they want to see a train wreck...

Some of the best stories I see are not national stories about big celebrities or even incredibly huge acts of bravery or charity, sometimes it's in the smallest acts that the human spirit is most revealed.  Here is a story I saw on my Facebook feed this morning that was just too good NOT to share.

Bowling is always a good time. If it's for a cause, it makes it even more enjoyable. This is a great one for all of you in Troy.   It's a long standing tradition - the Troy Flag Day Parade

Always a rewarding experience visiting the Griswold Heights Community Center in association with the Troy Housing Authority and the Academy for Character Education.  These kids love this country and they are ready to sing about it!

Spreading patriotism throughout the Capital Region - that's what we do here at Townsquare Media in association with the Reading, Writing and Rhyming Tour.  Proud to be involved.  This time it's the kids from Gardiner Dickenson School in Wynantskill

I can't believe what these kids came up with in such a short time- but then again, I'm ALWAYS pleasantly surprised every week at how creative elementary kids can be when you let them go.  Case in point below

We have elementary school children recite the Pledge of Allegiance each weekday morning at 6 AM on the Sean and Richie show.  Sometimes the kids and parents don't get to hear themselves, so as a public service I present "Pledges-On-Demand".

These kids were great.  So patriotic!  I'm sure they would like to hear themselves, and parents and friends can burst their buttons with pride by listening too, so here we go - instant replay!

Okay, kids (and parents,relatives and friends of...)   If you missed hearing your Pledge of Allegiance that you did on our morning show, here's your chance to hear yourselves again!

Do you approve of updated versions of the Star-Spangled Banner?  Is it okay to do a rock version? A jazz version? How about a hip-hop version?
