It is another high honor for one of our favorite Adirondack lakes.

The US is full of amazing, pristine freshwater lakes. And the cleanest of them all is right here in the Empire State.

They'll all be opening soon.

Let's hope we can spread this message and help authorities safely find a missing teenager from the Capital Region. Police are searching for a teenage boy who went missing on Monday and they hope someone out there can help by offering any information that could be useful in locating him.  The 16-year-old was last seen in the area of Million Dollar Beach in Lake George.

Last year, Lake George's Million Dollar Beach was closed for most of the season due to high levels of sewage in the water. The Governor has announced that they are receiving hundreds of thousands of dollars to ensure that beach will remain open and be safe for swimming.

It's open again no it's closed. That has been the story the past few weeks regarding Million Dollar Beach and The Department Of Environmental Conservation has been scrambling to find the source of e-coli that has been contaminating the beach. Well now they have located its source.

After opening for the season last weekend, the Lake George Beach is once again closed due to E.coli concerns.

On Friday, the news came down that this local beach would not be open in time for the weekend. Well it didn't take too long, you can enjoy it now just in time for the hot weather.

It is going to be hot this weekend and this popular beach is still off limits.

As the weather starts getting warmer and the swim suits are broken out, it's time to figure out which beach in the area is the best one.

You've heard the term, "party pooper," right? Well, I'm not sure how that term originated, but it may have been because of something like this.
