Fair Season is upon us here in the Capital Region. Two have already come and gone, the Saratoga Fair and The Punkintown Fair in Voorheesville. Did you miss those two as I did? No worries, plenty more fairs will come before the summer ends and into the fall season.
We are in the middle of fair season, with The Great New York State Fair starting on Wednesday. Fairs are fun because of the games, the livestock, but let's be real, we all want to try the strange fair food!
By now we've all heard about, or worse, seen the deadly footage of the Ohio State Fair ride malfunction that killed one man and injured many others. Operators of the ride "Fireball" also work with five other upcoming state fairs in New York, two of them in the Capital Region.
