Operators Of Deadly Ohio Ride To Supply Local Fairs

By now we've all heard about, or worse, seen the deadly footage of the Ohio State Fair ride malfunction that killed one man and injured many others. Operators of the ride "Fireball" also work with five other upcoming state fairs in New York, two of them in the Capital Region.

According to WHEC News, the group Amusements of America will be supplying 2 local and upcoming fairs with "thrill rides" and "spectacular rides."

The New York State's Department of Labor is responsible for inspecting amusement rides at event. WHEC News is checking with officials to see if they're taking any additional action at festivals using Amusements of America.

Amusement of America has been operating since 1939 and according to their website "safety is our number one priority.  All Amusements of America rides are regularly checked daily by our safety professionals."
