The other day I saw a study done by a website, RoadSnacks.Net which set out to "scientifically" find the worst suburbs of Albany N.Y. It seemed pretty legit they looked at a few different factors like, employment, pay, things to do , high school drop out rates and home values...

Chick-fil-A is the latest food chain scouting locations in the Albany, New York area!  That's right—they're currently looking for a home here in the Capital Region!

So maybe you're not into the name "North" or "Saint" but you want a cool, hip, meaningful name for your new little bundle of joy! Have you considered naming your babe after the town you grew up in?  Or the back road he or she was conceived on...

Some people are doing it! According to the TimesUnion.com, Maseratis are starting to sell in the Capital Region. So are other high ticket items.   Go figure...

I wanted to do this just to give credit for all of the people who  responded to my request for photos of the storm this past weekend.   My old neighbor is included in this song. Their tree came dangerously close to both of our houses (mostly his - thank God they're alright!)

Last year 'GNA had a Battle of the Bands competition and local favorites, "Cryin' Out Loud" wowed the judges and the crowd with their kickin' country set.  They opened up Countryfest last year, and one of our Secret Star Acoustic Jam shows, too, as our Official Band...

I'm a man on a mission.   The property taxes we're paying are absurd for what we're getting.  I'm ready to load up the moving van, but want to know where to go?

I'm sure there are a lot of folks who don't want to put in the time to cook on Thanksgiving.  But then again, you want that  home cooked feel when you go out, don't you?  Any suggestions?

If you are headed to Latham via Rt. 9 this weekend, be prepared for heavy traffic! This weekend will end with the closing of Hofman's Playland.  The playland has been a staple in the Capital Region for 62 years! The parking lot will be packed, the lines will be long, but the fun will last all day and the memories for a life time...

Labor Day is a great time to relax with family and remember what is important in your lives while also enjoying some BBQ food or outdoor activities.
