It's hard to believe that Countryfest 2019 has come and gone. We had such an amazing day of fun and great country music. Brian and I had a chance to sit down with Countryfest 2019 artist Brandon Lay.

Our 11th Secret Star Acoustic Jam was this past Wednesday night at Proctor's in Schenectady and it did not disappoint. We welcomed Devin Dawson, Carly Pearce, Midland, Michael Ray and Granger Smith. I sat down with Granger and we spoke about his New York ancestry, the unique way he met his wife and his family.

Chrissy and Jess from Brian and Chrissy in the Morning interviewed country star, Chris Janson. He revealed that his song "Drunk Girl" is one of the most meaningful songs he's ever written and why it's so important for everyone to hear it.

I've never seen anything like this!  But not many of us have! It's rather new technology.  An artist from the United Kingdom creates beautiful art pieces using an app, one finger, and a whole lot of time! Thankfully he records his sessions and posts them on youtube...

In an attempt to become just a little bit more aware of the happenings in my own neighborhood, I went to a meeting of the Niskayuna Town Board this week.  I was impressed-not only with the people on the board (they passed an important resolution for us, but I won't get into it here, but also with the artwohung in the room.  Then I found out who drew these masterpieces!

Isn't it totally annoying when your windshield wiper acts like someone spread a thin coating of cream cheese on your bagel--when you ordered a plain one? So hard to scrape it off!
