Another event has been canceled because of COVID. This time it's a time-honored tradition at Buffalo Bills tailgates. One of Bills Mafia's superfans says he is not going to go through with his condiment showers anymore in the parking lot in Orchard Park before the Buffalo Bills home games.

Pinto Ron who is known to be sprayed and covered with ketchup and mustard says he's putting a cap on those shenanigans this season. Pinto Ron, whose real name is Ken Johnson, said he was in close contact with Eric Matwijow who owns the parking lot where Ken holds the festivities, decided that they will not be doing the condiment showers this season according to News 10 ABC.

Ken Johnson (Pinto Ron) had open-heart surgery this past spring and because he draws enormous crowds in the parking lot, he and Eric are worried that the large crowds may be irresponsible because of COVID. They are going to do away with the condiment shower so they don't attract very large crowds. Pinto Ron said:

The last couple years we got very large crowds out there and with COVID this year there’s a lot of uncertainty and a lot of people were nervous about it.

There will still be a gathering in the same lot that he holds the condiment showers including having Pizza Pete's Pizza where pizzas get cooked inside a filing cabinet. Pinto Ron also says that it has been difficult because he misses his Canadian fans that he's gotten to know over the years with the border closure.

Either way, Pinto Ron will be at all of the Buffalo Bills home games tailgating just now he will be able to see and interact with the rest of Bills Mafia.
