This past weekend on 4-3-21 Jenn and I were supposed to get married in a small ceremony in Disney. When the world came to a halt, we decided to postpone our wedding, as many people did, and pick a new date. I can't lie and say I wasn't disappointed but I understood that we had no choice. Fast forward to this past weekend and I never thought I would say this but it still is a new beginning for us.

If you told me that on Sunday, April 4, 2021, I would be excited and celebrating a new beginning, knowing that I had to cancel my wedding, I would have said you were crazy. Actually, we are. You see we have been hoping to get back to our favorite place on earth, get married, and start our life as a family and now it seems like it's all falling into place.

Sure we rescheduled our wedding in Disney and are planning a bigger and better celebration when we can have one, but we are now both completely vaccinated. We both got our second shots on Thursday so now we are optimistic about traveling and getting back to some kind of normalcy.

This time has also made us slow down and appreciate all that we have and how blessed that we are. We have been having a house built for the past year and it looks as if we will be closing on it this week. Again, we understand how lucky we are throughout this pandemic.

I guess what I am trying to say is that we were all disappointed that we had to postpone our wedding, but we are truly happy and optimistic that this is a new start and beginning for all of us. Hopefully, we can all get a chance to celebrate the little things and the big moments of the year ahead.
