State of The Union Tonight

Unlike a good football game when it comes to the State of the Union Address by President Obama tonight I don't need to give you a channel to watch. It is on all of them.

I am not a political creature by habit, but ever since I was a kid my parents made all of the kids in my family watch the State of The Union address. The first I remember was Gerald Ford. My mom and dad always said it was a way to show respect to the President, and as Americans no matter what you like or dislike about the Presidents of past and present I guess they do deserve our respect.

Tonight's speech is expected to center around the record jobless numbers and the economy. I'm sure other topics will be covered as well. I will be watching as always. My parents taught me well. For more insight on what to expect check out this link for the full story from Fox News.
