This may be just what the doctor ordered if you’re feeling like you could use an energy boost. It may also make you a little healthier. Even before the expo, here are some things that you can do to help you get started on a regular routine.

5) Push ups

We all know how to do them, and you don’t need to do too many. Just start out doing about 10, if you can. Gradually increase the number as time goes on.

4) Park Away From The Door

Going shopping? Don’t look for a space near the door. This way you can get to do a little bit of walking.

3) Eating Pretty Means Eat Healthy

Get those fruits and vegetables, but get various colors of them. This way you’re almost guaranteed to get the nutrients that you need and start to eat healthy.

2) Step Up And Use The Stairs

Avoid elevators and escalators. You’ll get a little more walking in.

1) Go Out For A Walk

I’ve been stressing the walking thing, so why not just head out for a walk? Try to shoot for at least 15 minutes a day.

Hopefully you can use these to your advantage. These are pretty simple ways for you to maybe feel a little better. You don't have to go to a gym if you don't want to, and I'm not saying to run three miles a day.

You can get more ideas at the Fitness, Health And Beauty Expo, this Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Fitness guru Marcie Fraser from YNN will be there, too. It’s just $3 dollars for adults. There will also be stuff for the kids to do. What kind of tips do you have?
