A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the Capital Region tonight. So how much snowfall will we get?

It has been a fairly cold winter, but we still have not gotten a ton  of snow. Well, we are finally going to get a little more tonight. Depending on where you are in the Capital Region, you can expect 2 to 6 inches of snow. Here is the latest weather map of Capital Region snowfall estimates from the National Weather Service (NWS):

The NWS says snow will start around 2am and will be strongest during the morning commute and should taper off by sunset. So be careful out there tomorrow! And could this finally be the storm that determines a winner for our First Flakes contest?
