She’s One Smart Cookie

Most Girl Scouts bring their cookie order sheets to mom or dad's work, this Girl Scout in California decided to capitalize on the folks that would want a quick snack. A nine-year-old girl who wished to remain anonymous was captured on a cell phone video selling her Girl Scout cookies out of a wagon outside a marijuana dispensary in San Diego.

It turned out to be a very lucrative location. The father and daughter told a local TV station that the Girl Scout sold more than three hundred boxes of cookies in two or three hour trips last Wednesday and Friday.

Even the dispensary did some marketing for the nine-year old. Urban Leaf posted on Instagram, "Get some Girl Scout Cookies with your GSC today until 4pm! Have a friend that wants to #tagalong? Bring them with - shopping is more fun with friends anyway."

By the way, Girl Scout cookies are currently being sold here in the Capital Region. We just get them the conventional way, at our offices or online.
