Sending Care Packages To The Troops [PICS]
As the holidays approach, and Veteran's Day is celebrated, I can't help but think about all the the men and women that are serving our country and away from their families. We are trying to do our part to help them feel love from home. We know a few soldiers that are serving overseas. A close friend, Matt, who is stationed in Kuwait doing an eighteen month tour. He has a wife and two small children at home. He is part of thousands of troops serving in that area. He reached out to let us know where the care packages would go.
Matt wrote: "I’ve identified a specific company for these when they come in. Fox Company for the artillery battalion. They’re a support group that has a mix of jobs like mechanics, cooks, supply, ammo distribution.....they work extremely hard getting the actually artillery soldiers everything they need to fight in battle. Probably work the most out here compared to any other groups. I’ve already talked to the company commander and told him they’re coming his way."
Jenn spoke with Ryan's school and they were able to collect much needed food, toiletries, hygiene products and even Christmas decorations. Children at the school wrote thank you notes and we mailed the packages to Matt and the soldiers stationed with him.
This is where we have been sending care packages and a message from our friend Matt.

"I’m also working on identifying Soldiers who may not have anyone to send them stuff so if you’d like to help out, I’ll get those packages to Soldiers in need."
