Sean’s Predictions For Championship Sunday – Who Do You Think Will Go To The Big Game?

Here we are, Championship Sunday! I am so excited as these games are about to get underway. I truly believe that both of these games could go either way, you can make a solid argument for any of the four teams to win today. Here is my predictions for the day.

In the first game we have the Atlanta Falcons hosting the Green Bay Packers. I think Atlanta has been playing great football as of late, their offense has been prolific all year but the key for them is that their defense has also found their groove in the last few games they have played, especially last week. Atlanta is home and obviously should win this game, perhaps that is why I am picking the Packers.

The Packers have not lost in 7 games and they are this year's "hot" team. In many ways they should have not been playing as well as they have but they find a way. I will not bet against that today.

In the second game the New England Patriots host the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers have also been on a hot streak lately and they have two of the most powerful offensive weapons in the league in Bell and Brown. You could make a great argument for them winning the AFC Championship game and heading to yet another Superbowl. I will NOT make that argument, because it could cause one in my house as my Wife and her entire family are die hard Patriot fans.

Even if that were not the case I think we have all leaned NOT to bet against the Patriots at home in a big game. The Patriots will find a way to slow down Bell and Brown and ride Albany Academy alumni, Dion Lewis to victory.
