Schenectady Police Talk Man Out Of Jumping From Bridge

It happened yesterday at the Cotton Hollow Factory Bridge.

A man who was distraught climbed over the railing of the bridge and was intending to jump. Schenectady police with the help of family members managed to talk him out of it. Under the Mental Health Law the man was taken into custody without incident and is receiving mental health help now.
